02What this policy covers
This policy explains what personal data we collect through the website nuedwears.com and through the phone, WhatsApp and email channels listed on it, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what rights you have over it.
It applies to business enquiries and to our dealings with wholesalers, retailers, distributors, online sellers and private-label brands. We do not sell to consumers through this website and we do not accept payments on it.
03Information we collect
Information you give us in the enquiry form. Our enquiry form asks for the following. The fields marked required are the minimum we need in order to call you back:
- Your name (required)
- Business, shop or firm name (optional)
- Mobile or WhatsApp number (required)
- City (required)
- Buyer type — retailer, wholesaler, distributor, online seller or private-label brand
- Product interest — bras, panties, sets or private label
- Approximate quantity
- Any message you write, such as designs, colours, packing or branding requirements
Information you give us directly. Anything you send us by WhatsApp, phone call, email or in person, including business details you choose to share such as your GSTIN, billing address, delivery address and the name of your transporter.
Information created when we do business. Quotations, order confirmations, invoices, dispatch records and payment records generated when you place an order with us.
What we do not collect. This website has no shopping cart, no login and no payment gateway. We do not collect card numbers, UPI IDs, net-banking credentials or any payment credentials through this website, and we will never ask you for an OTP, PIN or password.
04Why we use your information
We use your personal data only for the following purposes:
- To respond to your enquiry and call or message you back
- To prepare and send quotations, catalogues, product details and samples
- To process, manufacture, pack and dispatch an order you place
- To raise GST invoices, e-way bills and other statutory documents
- To arrange transport, and to share delivery details with the transporter or courier
- To keep accounts and records, and to meet obligations under tax law
- To handle complaints, claims and grievances
- To contact you about a live order or an existing business relationship
We do not sell your personal data. We do not rent or trade contact lists. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.
05Your consent, and withdrawing it
When you submit the enquiry form, message us on WhatsApp, or email or call us, you consent to us using the details you provide for the purposes set out above. That consent is specific, informed and given by a clear affirmative action, as required by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to enquiry@nuedwears.com or messaging us on +91 96256 56718. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.
Withdrawing consent does not affect anything lawfully done before you withdrew it, and it does not require us to delete records we are legally required to keep, such as GST invoices.
06WhatsApp enquiries
Our enquiry form does not store your details on a server. When you submit it, the details you typed are placed into a WhatsApp message on your own device, addressed to our business number. Nothing is sent until you press send in WhatsApp.
This means your enquiry travels through WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta. WhatsApp's own privacy terms apply to that message, and Meta will process it according to those terms. We receive the message on our business phone and then handle it as described in this policy.
If you would rather not use WhatsApp, you can email or call us on the details given in this policy instead.
07Third-party services used by this website
Google Fonts. This website loads typefaces from Google's font servers. When your browser requests those files, your IP address and basic request information are received by Google and processed under Google's own privacy policy. We do not control that processing and we receive no data from it.
Web hosting. Our website is served by a hosting provider whose servers automatically record standard technical information such as IP address, browser type and the time of the request in their server logs. This is ordinary infrastructure logging and we do not use it to identify individual visitors.
Meta and WhatsApp. As described in the section on WhatsApp enquiries above.
08Cookies and tracking
This website does not set any cookies of its own. It does not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, advertising pixels, session recording or any other visitor-tracking tool.
If we add analytics or advertising tools in future, we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.
09When we share your information
We share personal data only where it is necessary, and only with:
- Transporters and courier companies — the consignee name, delivery address and phone number, so that your goods can be delivered
- Our accountant and tax professionals — billing details, for GST returns and bookkeeping
- Banks — where a payment has to be identified or reconciled
- Government authorities and courts — where disclosure is required by Indian law or in response to valid legal process
- Professional advisers — where we need legal or accounting advice on a claim or dispute
We do not share your personal data with any other business for its own marketing purposes.
10How long we keep your information
Enquiries that do not lead to an order are kept only while we are in active discussion with you, and are removed on request.
Order, invoice and dispatch records are kept for at least the period required by Indian tax law. Under the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 and the Income-tax Act, 1961, that generally means six years or more from the relevant financial year.
WhatsApp conversations remain on our business device and are cleared periodically once the business dealing is closed.
11How we protect your information
We follow reasonable security practices in line with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, and with the security obligations of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023:
- Access to enquiry messages, order records and accounts is limited to the people in our firm who need it for their work
- Business devices are protected by passcodes and screen locks
- Business records are kept on the firm's own systems and backed up
- We do not store payment credentials, so there are none to lose
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a personal data breach occurs that affects you, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as required under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
12Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, as a Data Principal you have the right to:
- Access — obtain a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we are processing it
- Correction and updating — have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected, updated or completed
- Erasure — have your personal data erased, unless we are required by law to retain it
- Withdrawal of consent — at any time, as described above
- Grievance redressal — a readily available means of raising a complaint with us
- Nomination — nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity
To exercise any of these rights, write to enquiry@nuedwears.com with your name and the mobile number you contacted us from, so that we can locate your records. We will respond within a reasonable period.
You also have duties under the Act: not to impersonate another person, not to suppress material information, and not to file false or frivolous complaints.
13Children
This is a business-to-business website. Our products, quotations and services are directed at businesses and at persons who are at least 18 years of age and competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
We do not knowingly collect the personal data of a child. If you believe a child has given us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.
14Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our business, our website or the law changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Continuing to deal with us after a change means you accept the revised policy.
15Grievance redressal and contact
If you have a question about this policy, or a complaint about how your personal data has been handled, contact us first. We take grievances seriously and will try to resolve yours quickly.
